THE WAY TO THE "WEST"

Everyday in and on the news we hear of africans, asians,.................going to the west. How many arrive?, I wonder if they do.
Why?
When?
How?
The stories of their journeys are pathetic, pitiful and sorrowful.
But has the west ever really tried to find out why they come? or want to leave their own countries?... colonialism comes with responsiblility, particularly if you never wanted the child to grow. If the west wanted their colonies to take and make decisions in their own countries by 'first of all consulting with their masters'' , then they should begin to understand the'WHY'. Most african countries are 'still'ruled by the colonial books and the line of rulers are still those that will adhere to the wishes of the west- the wishes are NOT to be named-but it will be worth a while checking on those wishes another time.

"WHEN" is another thing that the west should think about. These people start coming when they begin to think differently from the western accepted rulers......... when they begin to want more from these rulers than they can't provide... and sometimes it is just maybe the basic necessities like food, goodhealth, shelter and sometimes education.
There is a saying in one of the himbalands that the road to the heart is through the 'stomach'. Give them these things without being a benevolent despot and I bet you they will STOP coming to the west.

HOW is the means and the passage, when a guide takes a gift to show the way to a stranger , is that civil?
when people create markets where these passers come and wait for their passages, is that legal?
when the governments accept taxes from these illegal businesses is it fair?
and when western politicians use these idea of 'illegals'to mark election points and foster their carreers is that fair?
And when TV documentaries are the best hits when they talk about living with immigrants "en route to who knows where" are those publicities fair?
Do we really think that the cause of immigration in the west is only in the hands of those immigrants?
The west should look inside itself.
and the problem will be solved. anyway, if they want to.
